IPL 2023: In 2021, BCCI and the IPL committee introduced two new teams in the tournament and made the Indian Premier League a ten-team affair. LSG became one of the franchises and they had a good debut during the IPL 2022 season.

The player has recently made history by scoring a hat-trick in Ranji Trophy in the first over. He also made his comeback to the Test team after 12 years and displayed a good performance.
Jaydev was part of Mumbai Indians till 2022 but considering his performance in IPL 2022, the franchise chose to release him. However, they immediately regretted the decision as he has performed well in first-class cricket. IPL 2023 will be a decisive factor for the player to play more international matches with the senior team.
2) Nicholas Pooran
Up until 2022, Nicholas Pooran was a part of the Sunrisers Hyderabad squad but failed to make an impact on the team. His release came out as a shock but it was a huge benefit for Lucknow Super Giants as the player was bought for a price of 16 Crore. There are two reasons for Pooranβs name in this list.
Firstly he is the costliest player for Lucknow and hence the franchise would like to get the desired results. Secondly, Nicholas Pooran has shown some positive signs of improvement and will be continuing the momentum in the IPL 2023 as well. His presence in the middle order will definitely make the team much stronger.
3) Marcus Stoinis
Marcus Stoinis was purchased by the franchise during the iPL 2022 mega auction and the player turned out to be one of the most valuable individuals. During IPL 2023, the spotlight will be on Stoinis because of his consistent performance in the ongoing tournament of the Big Bash League.
Stonis was a failure in the T20 internationals but his strike rate was recorded as 168.24. However, since the day BBL started, Stonis has been making headlines with his brilliant performance in the middle order. He also comes in handy with his bowling skills and will be a valuable player for Lucknow this year as well.
