The decision to bowl first worked in favour of the team as the bowlers gave a good start. Al-Amin Hossain and Bilal Khan picked up 2 wickets each at an economy of 3.75 and 7 respectively. Skipper Shuvagata Hom, Nihaduzzaman, and Curtis Campher also scalped a single wicket each.
It was a comfortable chase for the batting unit but the early exit of Avishka Fernando and Imran Uzzaman from the top order did put pressure on the rest of the batters.
